Dani Brown
Working in English & German
Dani Brown is an intimacy coordinator based in Berlin with over 20 years of experience directing bodies in demanding performance contexts, with her work presented on stages and screens worldwide. She holds a BA in Dance with a specialization in Choreography from ArtEZ (NL, 2005) and completed her intimacy coordination training with Principal Intimacy Professionals in January 2025.
Her choreographic thinking has long been shaped by an exploration of how spoken text and movement inform one another—how a gesture can rupture a sentence, or a line of dialogue might shift the weight of a body. Dani’s attention to detail continues to guide her eye on set, and she is especially drawn to challenging, emotionally complex projects that demand nuance, clarity, and trust.
At MINT, Dani approaches intimacy coordination with the same values that have anchored her performance career: informed consent, artistic rigor, and a belief that trust is as critical as any tool used to tell the story. Her work is bolstered by training in mental health first aid, conflict de-escalation, and equity and inclusion, ensuring she supports productions not only creatively but ethically—so that brave work can happen safely.
